Based in Thimister-Clermont, our specialized drivers handle the transport of machinery and long, wide, or heavy construction elements throughout Belgium and beyond.
For the transport of reels, stone and marble, various materials, and blocks, MB Transports also operates a fleet of long semi-crane trailers equipped with mobile cranes: flatbed semi-trailers with 16 TM cranes and wooden supports, semi-cranes with forks, and semi-cranes with block clamps. Fast and efficient execution guaranteed.
MB Transports specialises in exceptional transport, the transport of machinery and equipment, conventional and distribution transport, as well as transport with handling services. We also operate vehicles equipped with cranes and truck-mounted forklifts to handle loading or unloading directly on site.
We operate throughout Belgium and internationally, mainly across Europe. Each transport operation is assessed according to the route, the characteristics of the load and the regulations applicable in the countries through which it travels.
We transport a wide range of goods, including machinery, construction equipment, building components, industrial parts, materials, glass, cable drums, stone, marble, blocks and conventional goods. For specific requirements, our planning team will assess the most suitable solution.
Transport is considered exceptional when the vehicle or its indivisible load exceeds the dimensions or weights permitted for normal road traffic. In Belgium, a permit is required when certain regulatory thresholds are exceeded, for example 2.55 m in width, 4 m in height or 44 tonnes for certain 5-axle combinations. Length limits depend on the type of vehicle combination.
Yes. MB Transports has extensive experience in the administrative management of exceptional transport operations. We hold a substantial portfolio of standard permits and can apply for any additional permits required for specific transport operations, including route studies and a roadbook where necessary.
Yes. When the dimensions of the convoy or regulations require it, we can include the necessary escort measures in the transport planning and adapt the route to the specific constraints of the convoy.
There is no single limit that applies to all transport operations. Our capacity depends on the weight, dimensions of the load, selected vehicle, load distribution, route and available permits. We therefore assess each exceptional transport operation individually to determine the appropriate technical and regulatory configuration.
Yes. Our fleet includes extendable flatbed trailers, low-loader semi-trailers and extra-low-loader semi-trailers, allowing us to transport long, tall, heavy or oversized loads.
Yes. Transporting machinery, construction equipment and industrial equipment is one of our specialities. Our experienced drivers use vehicles and trailers adapted to the specific requirements of this type of load.
Yes. We have rigid trucks and semi-trailers equipped with truck-mounted forklifts, allowing us to handle both transport and unloading directly at the delivery location.
The truck-mounted forklift makes the delivery fully autonomous. It allows the driver to unload the goods without relying on a forklift being available at the customer’s premises. This solution is particularly useful for construction sites, depots, shops or deliveries to customers who do not have their own handling equipment.
Yes. This is precisely one of the advantages of our fleet. Depending on the goods and access to the site, we can provide a truck-mounted forklift, a crane truck or another suitable handling solution.
Yes, provided that access and safety conditions allow it. Before arranging the delivery, we check vehicle access, the space available for handling operations and the unloading conditions.
Yes. Our distribution services allow us to organise routes with multiple delivery points, with or without onboard handling equipment. The schedule is planned according to volumes, delivery times and the specific requirements of each destination.
Yes. MB Transports operates several types of crane trucks and crane-equipped tractor units, with capacities of up to 140 Tm, depending on the vehicle. This equipment allows us to combine transport and handling with a single point of contact.
Yes. This is one of our specialities. We can transport, handle and install glass using crane trucks, compact cranes and specialised vacuum lifters. Our glass handling equipment offers capacities ranging from 350 to 1,200 kg, as well as 3D robotic vacuum lifting systems.

For exceptional transport, precise information about the dimensions and weight is essential in order to determine the appropriate vehicle, route and required permits.
The timeframe depends on the type of assignment. Conventional transport can sometimes be arranged quickly, depending on the availability of our fleet. For exceptional transport, the technical assessment, route planning and any required permit applications must also be taken into account. Some administrative procedures may take several working days. We therefore recommend contacting us as early as possible, while our planning team will always look for the fastest feasible solution.
Yes. We can provide solutions for regular transport services, recurring delivery routes or dedicated transport resources, depending on the volumes and the customer’s requirements. This organisation makes it possible to optimise schedules, vehicle allocation and continuity of service.
Safety starts with selecting the right vehicle, ensuring proper load distribution and securing the load according to the characteristics of the goods. Our teams also take into account loading, transport and unloading conditions to minimise risks to the goods, people and infrastructure. Our experience in specialised transport and handling enables us to anticipate the specific constraints of each assignment.
Yes. Our drivers are selected and supported according to the assignments they carry out. Transporting machinery, exceptional loads, operating cranes and truck-mounted forklifts, and carrying out handling operations all require specific skills. MB Transports relies on specialised drivers, operational supervision and in-house trainers to maintain a high level of technical expertise and safety.
Our team is here to listen and provide the best possible advice, from departure to the arrival of your goods.
